Hi. Welcome to my blog site! I am currently a stay at home mom. When my daughter started school, I have found a need for a hobby. Most I have tried, didn't last long. Then I discovered crochet, loom knitting, and regular knitting. Now no matter how much yarn I have, I always feel like I need more! LOL.

Loom Knit Scarf
This is a scarf that I completed using a straight loom. It worked very nice, and surprisingly fast. I used a double knit stockinette stitch using my favorite yarn, Lion Brand Homespun Stripes in Lakeside Stripes. I love how soft it is.
I have given her a try out in the cold (teens before wind chill), and she was very warm for me. For cool weather, I love that she is big enough to use as a wrap as well.
One of the best parts about this scarf, it' machine washable and dryable (and did i mention how soft it is?)

Sweet Valentine Gift
With Valentine's day coming up, I've been trying to think of something my daughter can hand out with her Valentine cards. Something small, simple, and unique. A crochet heart with a sucker seems perfect! This idea can be applied to any small crochet applique.
For this particular heart, I used the color Autumn Red by Caron Simply Soft. My daughter absolutely loves them and can't wait to hand them out at school.
